THERAPY SERVICES

Mindful Misfits maintains a separation between clinical therapy services and non-clinical coaching, consulting, training, and other professional services.
The Mindful Misfits website is not used to collect therapy intake information, mental health histories, diagnoses, insurance information, clinical documentation, or other therapy records.

Therapy clients are directed to the clinical platform used by their individual provider for scheduling, intake documentation, insurance and billing information, clinical forms, records, and other therapy-related processes.

Existing therapy clients should use the communication methods provided through their clinical practice for confidential clinical matters. Protected health information associated with therapy services is maintained by the applicable clinician or clinical practice and is governed by that provider's Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable law.

ADHD COACHING

ADHD coaching is a non-clinical service focused on practical strategies, skill development, executive functioning, accountability, and related coaching goals. When you inquire about, schedule, purchase, or participate in coaching services, we may collect information such as:

  • Scheduling and appointment information

  • Coaching service or program selected

  • General coaching goals and areas of focus

COACHING INVOLVING MINORS

Mindful Misfits may provide coaching services involving children and adolescents.

Parents and legal guardians should provide only information reasonably necessary to inquire about, schedule, administer, or participate in coaching services and should avoid submitting unnecessary medical, mental health, educational, or other sensitive records through general website forms, scheduling fields, or general communications.

Mindful Misfits does not intend for children under 13 to independently submit personal information through its website or online scheduling systems.
